Tried | Etude House I'm Blooming Brightening Wash-Off Gel

Friday 1 November 2013
Hello, lovelies! It's 3 in the morning and I just finished sorting like 2/3 of paper works in my dad's office so I'm gonna write a review before hitting the sack tonight, err..this morning. Okay, now I'm confused. O.o Anyway, as I received a lot of samples from Etude House beauty stores, this is one of them. In fact, I got like 10 of them. LOL That's what you get if you go to 4-5 different stores. :)

I heard this line was released last Spring and it was a hit among my younger cousins who love the fact that this line is 7-Free product (Paraben, Mineral Oil, Artificial Colour, Talc, Sulfate activator, Benzophenone, and Formaldehyde) What? Formaldehyde? I thought it's only used in keeping specimens fresh in labs? You know, dead bodies?

Product Description:

Containing flower and plant-origin powder (Jasmine) Flower, Rosa Canina Flower, Anthemis Nobilis Flower Powder, this transparent gel-type daily wash-off gel gently removes dead skin cells, providing smooth, supple skin for a milky-white complexion.

With ingredients that strengthen skin's natural vitality, this cleansing gel helps maintain fresh, blooming, healthy skin.

How to use:

After cleansing step, apply ample amount of product onto slightly dried face, massage the gel onto your skin for about 2 to 3 minutes.
Leave it on for 2 to 3 minutes and wash it off with lukewarm water.

Packaging:

Well, I only got samples. But I saw the full-size product at the store and it's in soft pink 100ml tube that comes in a box. I love the hue though. ^_^

Texture:
As for the texture of this gel type wash-off mask, the consistency is quite thick and I can feel the exfoliating small beads while massaging on my face though you can't really see them as they quite transparent!

Scent:
I think it's more than the obvious, looking at the ingredients list, of course it's smell like flower. But a pale floral scent. A little soapy, too. It was nice cause I don't like strong scent in cleansing gel.

Verdict:
It's a gentle exfoliating wash-off gel. I would use on those days I need to give extra cleansing to my skin but sadly, I don't think this can replace my TheFaceShop Rice Water Bright Rice Bran Cleansing Foam. The functions are about the same, the claims too, are about the same where this wash-off gel claims that it can brightens up your skin after use, but unfortunately not really.

It does exfoliate my skin a little bit because again it's a gentle exfoliator, it does moisturises my skin, leaving my skin soft and supple, but does not really brightens up my skin at all.

Final verdict: 3/5

Until next post! Annyeong~

  1. When maintaining a fresh and healthy complexion, thorough cleansing is vital. This Case Study Writing Help discusses the effectiveness of a transparent gel-type daily wash-off gel with gentle exfoliating properties. With ingredients like Jasmine Flower and Rosa Canina Flower Powder, it aims to provide smooth and supple skin for a milky-white complexion. While it may not replace certain tried-and-tested products, it does offer a gentle exfoliation and moisturizing effect. However, it needs to be improved in terms of brightening the skin. Overall, it receives a good rating of 3/5.
