Beauty Empties 23.0 | December

Friday, 27 December 2019

Finally we have arrived to the last Empties post of this year of 2019! As for this time around, I have finished many products that I find simply above average and I'm pretty sure I'm not going to repurchase most of them.

As per usual, let us start with skincare products!

For makeup removers, I've used up the whole tub of that FORENCOS V-Right New Tone Cleansing Balm which is really pretty in texture but I don't think I will be repurchasing it simply because it is quite hard to rinse it off once it melted off the makeup.

With so many lazy nights the past couple of weeks, I can't help but relying on that Bifesta Enrich Cleansing Sheet to remove the layers of sunscreen at the end of the day. This makeup wipe is real nice and while I didn't actually repurchase it, I do have other variants as backups.

Throughout the past 3 months, I've finished a total of 8 cleansers. I do know it is a lot for merely a 3-month period but it is because I use most of them as body cleansers as well. I find most of these cleansers causing dryness onto my facial area so instead of tossing the out, I simply repurposed them.

The three cleansers from THE FACE SHOP Bubble Bubble cleansing line are actually different and I like the Mild Foaming Cleanser the most as it works well with my currently dehydrated skin. The other two, Moisturising Foaming Cleanser and Deep Foaming Cleanser were quite drying in general. I've also finished another tube of my favourite cleanser from the brand; Rice Water bright Cleansing Foam and I'm glad to report that that is the last tube I have in my cleanser stash. I've gone through many tubes of it at this point but I guess I'm not going to repurchase because I'm just really into gel cleansers these days.

That big tube of cleansing foam from Pyunkangyul is actually quite mild to my skin while it does cleanse well and the same goes to that one from Elle Beauty.

I find both of those SNP LAB+ Triple Water Deep Clean Facial Foam and FORENCOS V-right New Tone Cleansing Foam drying out my skin so much I've decided to simply use them as body cleansers.

I've used up my first bottle of that SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Asiatica Toning Toner and still have another bottle as backup. At first, I thought this exfoliating toner is quite harsh but then as it turned out, I was just reacting badly to a BHA toner that I also was testing at the time. My bad, really. So yes, I actually do glad I have a backup for it although I do want one in newer packaging.

As I've finished my first bottle of Cream Skin Refiner last quarter, I was focusing on both of those Leegeehaam Grow Hyal B5 Toner, the Ampoule and Cream sister for hydration. The toner was quite heavy to begin with so I didn't need to layer its application and as for the ampoule, I usually just use it on its own without layering another treatment product on top because it is quite heavy and takes some time to absorbed well into the skin. The cream too was quite heavy so I actually applied some of it on my dry elbows most of the times.

I have finally finished the Primer Water from Althea and I admit I did went over 12 months to finish it but it didn't changed in scent or colour so I guess it was all good. It's indeed quite nice to be used in the morning but I still have other opened hydrating toners so I won't be repurchasing this anytime soon. Speaking of which, I've finished another bottle of that Pyunkangyul Essence Toner which I love for its hydrating power and also, the fact that it has less than 10 ingredients. I'd be sure to at least repurchase this next year.

I have also finished up a tone-cream and this time around is that FORENCOS Wonderwerk Marula Tone-Up Cream which was nice as it's hydrating while giving me a toned up finish. As I always love trying new products, I won't be repurchasing this one for now.

That Huxley Secret of Sahara Sleep Mask: Good Night was given to me through a giveaway last year and I only had the chance to open it early this year. It's actually went really nice on skin and even more so when I wake up in the morning.

For sunscreens, I have managed to finish 5 of my opened stash. It did took me almost a year to finish most of them but when it comes to that Krave Beet the Sun, I've used it up within merely 3 months. I really do like it and already got myself a backup.

Both of those THE FACE SHOP Natural Sun Eco Liquid Fluid Sunscreen and Daily Sun Essence worked really nice with my skin as they both were nicely hydrating and felt lightweight on skin although I won't be repurchasing them anytime soon.

As for that LANEIGE All Day Anti-Pollution Defensor SPF30 PA++, I really like it as it worked greatly on top tone-up creams although it's not possible for me to repurchase this product as the whole anti-pollution line has been discontinued here in Malaysian market.

That Etude House Face Liquid Blur worked greatly too but I really hate the fact that it's heavily scented. I have been using AmorePacific products for years now and I'm quite used to how each of their products are scented but this one was just too much for me. While it does give me that nice and even toned up finish, I just can't deal with the scent. With that, I probably won't be buying anything from the brand anymore.

You guys know that I love using facial mists and that Innisfree Green Tea Mineral Mist is just one of it. I still do have several backups for it as I love carrying it in my bag. As for that Clinelle Pure Swiss Thermal Spring Water however, it's simply average so thank you. Next!

For body care products, I have finally finished the Dove Go Fresh Sakura Blossom Body Wash after about 9 months as I was alternating it with my other body cleansers. The fragrance suits my taste well for a body cleanser but I find it a bit too drying for my skin so I'm sticking to shower oil for now. As for that Shokubutsu Clean Fresh Shower Foam, it's actually a refill for my brother because he kept on using my floral-scented body cleansers so I got him a clear 500ml bottle from Daiso and filled it with that fresh-scented body cleanser instead.

For hair care, I've finished my first bottle of that Rejoice Hijab Perfection 3-in-1 Perfect Cool Shampoo and gladly bought the bigger size for it recently. The cooling sensation is really nice after a long day at work.

If you noticed on the featured photo above, I've been using that Nivea Extra Whitening Antiperspirant for years now and I've lost count to how many that I actually finished so all I can say that it works well therefore it's unlikely for me to purchase a different product for that.

I guess that's all for now and here's to more emptied products in the upcoming quarter. I'll see you guys on my next post!

Review | Bifesta Eye Makeup Remover

Thursday, 28 November 2019

Unlike cleansing waters, milks, creams, balms and even oils, I hardly venture into trying different eye makeup removers because I don't use them as frequent as I need to; I'd rather use a single product to remove all of my makeup that I have been wearing throughout the day at one go when I shower.

However, there are times when I don't want to get into the shower (where I line all my oil-based cleansers on my bathroom shelf) right away but desperately want to at least remove my waterproof eye makeup. This is where having a separate eye makeup remover can actually be helpful. Before I go in-depth into this product, let's get into some basic information first.

What you need to know! It's a gentle yet powerful water-based eye makeup remover.
  • For eyes and lips
    • Dual effect of water layers containing lotion-based cleansing ingredients and oil-based emollient layers effectively lift and remove waterproof mascara and eyeliner effortlessly without rubbing and tugging.
  • Contains vitamin B and E derivatives for added skin nutrients
    • Contains 2 types of moisturising ingredients which moisturize and is gentle to your delicate eye areas and eyelashes.
  • Colourant-free, fragrance-free, paraben-free, hypoallergenic formulation
  • Skin patch and allergy tested.
  • Contains Alkanediol (Pentylene Glycol) as moisturising agent.
How to Use:
  1. Shake well before use
  2. Dispense some suitable amount of product onto cotton pad and wipe gently. Rubbing is not required as product works by lifting makeup rather than melting it away.
  3. To remove stubborn mascara, hold cotton pad against eye for awhile before gently wiping off
  4. Remove contact lenses before use.
Capacity: 145ml - about 4 months of daily use with cotton pads.

Ingredients list: Water, Mineral Oil, Cyclopentasiloxane, Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, Alcohol, PEG-400, PCA Ethyl Cocoyl Arginate, Disodium EDTA, Pentylene Glycol, Panthenol, Tocopheryl Acetate, PEG-6 Caprylic/Capric Glycerides, Hydroxypropyltrimonium Hyaluronate

PACKAGING

Basically, the product comes with a plastic cover to seal the whole product and there are only Japanese product descriptions printed on the actual bottle. The Manufacturing Date is printed at the bottom of the bottle itself and the format is MFGDDMMYY (Day-Month-Year).

The product doesn't come with a pump or anything; just regular screw cap with a simple stopper at the neck of the bottle.

As you  can see, the product is a dual-phase makeup remover so it is imperative for you to shake the bottle to mix the oil and water parts of the product so you can remove all kinds of makeup you have on.

APPLICATION

I'm going to attempt to remove some waterproof makeup products that I have and here are some that I've been obsessing a lot lately; Benefit Cosmetics They're Real Mascara, NYX Lingerie Eye Tint, Shu Uemura Matte Supreme Matte and Benefit Cosmetics Benetint Cheek and Lip Stain as I'm all about long-wearing makeup these days.

I have swatched all the products at the back of my hand to show you how well this eye and lip makeup remover work!

I've dispensed some of the product directly onto the textured cotton pad, usually 3 to 4 drops and just let it sit on the products (on my eyelids) for a good 10 seconds.

Then, slowly wipe the pad away from the eyelid. As this makeup remover is quite watery, be careful not to let the product go into your eyes.

THOUGHTS

As you can see in the above photo, the only makeup item that were not completely removed are the eye, cheek and lip tints with their colours still visible on skin but as for the rest of the makeup, not even the slightest hint can be seen so I do think this oil cleanser does its job quite well. I bet most of you know that the products that aren't removed are quite known for their long-lastingness which is why I would rather to simply use cleansing oils to remove them altogether.

Overall, I give this product 4/5. I still do like this eye and lip makeup remover even after trying several other removers mostly from Korean brands as this product basically removes all traces of other eye makeup that I have.

When I'm not using base makeup, there is no need to use cleansing oil but I still need to remove waterproof eye makeup. For that I will use cleansing wipes or sheets to remove my sunscreen for the day and pour several drops of this remover onto the sheet and simply wipe away my mascara, eyeliner, and even brow mousse.

This makeup remover does not irritate, make my eyes blur or anything. Also I found that a little goes a long way with this product making it considerably affordable with the amount of product I get. I've recently finished my first bottle and now I'm on my second one with the newer packaging design.

You might have noticed that this product (as with most Japanese skincare products available in drugstores) contains mineral oil.  This may deter some from getting it but I personally don't have any issues with that ingredient as I'm actually more concerned with fragrance that may potentially irritate the skin.

I guess that's all from me and I hope this review helps you in some way but do let me know if you have any thought by leaving comments down below. Annyeong~

Beauty Empties 22.0 | September

Friday, 27 September 2019

Another quarter of this year then we're entering the second decade of this century, I've been thinking a lot on so many variable things like where my life is going to be on the next one? Okay, too heavy so here we are at another empties post; featuring products that I've finished between July till this month of September! I'm going to talk about the sheet masks that I've used throughout this quarter on my next post so do stay tuned for that.

Let's go to the cleansers, first!

Finally, I've finished that Bifesta Eye & Lip Makeup Remover after more than 12 months! I do know it's over the supposed PAO but I don't see any change; scent nor its consistency and my easily sensitised eyelids aren't reacting to it so I just kept on using it. Because I actually really like the product, I have repurchased another bottle for it!

I'm going to admit here that I didn't finished the makeup wipes above to remove my makeup as I've been using it a lot to remove swatches as I've did lots of makeup swatches the past few months. It's good and quite affordable but I already have others that I would prefer more.

For second water-based cleansers, I've finished that Heimish All Clean White Clay Foam but I didn't use the whole lot of it on my face because it's so drying so I've used it as body cleanser instead. Even so, I needed to moisturise my body afterwards as it turned out so no, I'm not going to repurchase the cleanser again.

I've finished my second tube of that THE FACE SHOP White Seed Exfoliating Foam around last month but this too, I've used up as body cleanser as it's too foamy and dried out my face afterwards. Won't be repurchasing again.

The third cleanser that I've finished is that pretty Fresh Soy Face Cleanser in its jumbo 200ml-sized tube and I love it very much indeed; used the the whole tube within 6 months and that's actually something! In fact, I'm into gel cleansers now because they don't dry out my skin unlike those high-pH cleansers at the very least. I'm already on my second jumbo tube - 20th anniversary version of the cleanser.

For special care category, I've used up both of Althea Real Fresh Skin Detoxer in Green Tea and Rose around last month and already opened my backups. They can a bit drying so I only take small amount of it usually in my morning skincare routine.

Now, let's go to first treatments and toners!

Finished the very first bottle of that LANEIGE Clear C Advanced Effector EX (3rd generation) and quite frankly, I don't really noticed the difference between this and the 2nd generation of the product. I always use this product as the first step after cleansing by pumping out at least 3 times and wipe my facial area outwards. I absolutely love this product as it helps maintaining my skin from being dull and it provides vitamins that help boosting the rest of my skincare. I still have another 2 bottles to finish before opening the new 4th generation bottle!

Technically, I didn't finished the whole bottle of that Heimish Refresh Water; my brother used half of it and I took the other half and poured into a tub to pre-soak some rounded Sephora pads. This exfoliating toner is kind of mild to me but I think it's good for beginners and as it's similar to Son&Park Beauty Water, I don't use this product everyday.

For hydrating toners, I've finished the first bottle of that LANEIGE Cream Skin Refiner that I've got for review on Beauty Memo by Hermo back in April and I have to say, I do love it, bought one bottle from LANEIGE Official Flagship store on Lazada and 5 more bottles from Althea as they were having sales at the time. I'm currently halfway through my second bottle as I'm so into layering it!

For essence-like toners, I've finished the Pyunkangyul Essence Toner which hydrates so well and I'm already on my second bottle in 200ml size. I love this especially for toner masks during midday. As for that Kayman Beauty Rosa Glow Treatment Essence, I really like it as it helps fading my acne scars so I've got another 2 bottles as they're having sale and I've already reviewed it on my Instagram so just scrolled down further or you can use #myrabeautyreviews for it.

Finished the first bottle of that Rejoice Hijab Perfection Perfume and its 3-in-1 Perfect Conditioning sister that I've got during their launching event back in April. Here to report that I've already bought another bottle of the shampoo along with its Cool sister but not the conditioner as I still have others to go through before getting a new one. Both shampoos are great and give long-lasting scents to my hair.

As for after-washing care, I've used up my first bottle of that Innisfree Camellia Essential Hair Oil Serum and gladly opened another bottle with new packaging as the brand changed their logo. No change made to the formula so all is good!

I guess that's all from me and I'll be seeing you guys on my next post that I've scheduled tomorrow! Annyeong~

Skincare Routine | First Cleansers

Wednesday, 2 May 2018

Hence my Round 12.0 of skincare has begun with more than 10 new products introduced (read: opened before they've gone expired) in this round so as per last Round 11.0, I'm going to start with first cleansers.

For eye makeup removers, I'm down to the last quarter of the bottle of Bifesta Eye Makeup Remover. This is still working greatly at removing my eye makeup and I'd be sure to repurchase when I finally finished it. As for its sisters; Bifesta Cleansing Lotion BRIGHT UP, ENRICHED and MOIST, I'm alternating these three according to my skin condition of the day. On dry and sensitive days, I usually go for Moist or Enriched while Bright Up is for regular days.

I was merely using the travel-sized of B-Lab I Am Sorry Just Cleansing Pure Natural Cleansing Water and now I'm back with that huge 500ml version. This is great when I'm practicing my makeup as it literally removes everything that I have on my eyes and face also gentle enough even if I were to use it many times (many mistakes!) in a row.

Among some new additions to my first cleansers is the Dr.Jart+ Dermaclear Micro Water that I first bought its travel-sized sister from SEPHORA aisle of terror i.e the aisle where its filled with travel-sized products, minis and deluxe samples. This cleansing water is one of Dr.Jart+ products that was featured many times in OnStyle's Get It Beauty program so that's the reason why I actually bought this from SEPHORA which is considerably expensive compared to getting them online but it actually comes with free refill so I'm good!

THE FACE SHOP Rice Water Bright Cleansing Water is the fourth bottle that I've repurchased and I do think I'd be still repurchasing this when I finished it. It works so well with my skin and doesn't irritate even on my sensitive skin days although your miles may vary with mine. As you guys might already know, this removes all my makeup and sunscreens.

I've received The SAEM Healing Tea Garden Tea Tree Cleansing Water to review that comes in Althea Box No. 40: 7-Step Korean Skincare back in February which I've done a quick review in the post so do check it out!

You've probably noticed that I would prefer cleansing waters over micellar waters any day as the ones that I've tried actually dried out my skin so bad but feel free to suggest any hydrating micellar water. Still, for days when I'm using heavy foundations or cushion foundations, I'd prefer to use oil-based first cleansers like cleansing balm and oils. There isn't much of differences between these in terms of performances and I'd prefer to use damped cleansing sponge to emulsify and wipe off the residue at the same time only to proceed with second cleanser right after.

I've only gone through half of the bottle of that ARITAUM Apricot Seed Deep Cleansing Oil from my previous round of skincare and I do still like it especially the peachy scent! I'd be sure to finish this soon!

Now onto the more new additions; Heimish All Clean Balm which is a better replacement of my previous cleansing balmas not only this removes my makeup really well, it doesn't sting my eyes or making my eyes blurry while I was melting off my makeup as it emulsifies with water.

As for that FORENCOS V-Right New Tone Cleansing Balm is something I had picked while I was just browsing through some of their products while I was at Metrojaya, Suria Sabah. Unfortunately, the product was leaked and I've only noticed it after a week as I forgot to take it out from shopping bag (went for a quick trip with family that week) and as I can't return or exchange, opening the product was given at that point. Although some of its oil spilled, the balm still works great at melting my makeup so no worries!

That Natural Pacific Deep Cleansing Oil is another cleanser that was included in the Althea Box that I've mentioned above. I'm really into this cleanser these days as it's lightweight and so easy to rinse off! Again, I've done a quick review in the Blogger Mail post so do check it out!

Last but definitely not least is the Shu Uemura Anti/Oxi+ Cleansing Oil in travel-sized bottle that I've got as a GWP when I got some brow products from the brand recently. I love the scent for this as it's like herbal but most importantly it's slightly different texture; it's oily but lotion-like? I don't know but I'll be using this for several more times to really come up with a review but so far, so good!

I guess that's all from me! Do let me know if you have first cleansers that you want me to try by leaving comments down below. I'll see you guys on my next post, annyeong!

Skincare Routine | Second Cleansers

Sunday, 7 January 2018
Second post on under this Beauty Routine series where I'll be talking about line of products at certain point of my skincare or makeup routine and this time my water-based facial cleansers that I use in the morning and after I've well removed my sunscreen or makeup in the evening.

Bifesta BRIGHT UP Foaming Whip is my morning cleanser when I use sleeping mask the night before. It’s so gentle and cleanses well. This is actually my second bottle from the same cleansing foam line. Love the sebum-controlling variant that I've finished last month as well.

Innisfree Olive Real Cleansing Foam is a cleanser that I use on those mornings when I feel my skin is too dry due to air-conditioner. I've been using this a lot lately and about to finish this soon. Probably not going to repurchase as I do want to try other non-drying cleanser.

Innisfree White Pore Facial Cleanser is the only product from the skincare line that I actually like. There are beads in it that gives a little bit exfoliating action onto my skin and I love how my skin felt smooth after using this. Also about to finish this soon but again, not going to repurchase as I'm planning to try other similar cleanser to this.

COSRX Salicylic Acid Exfoliating Cleanser is a cleanser that I like so much though I can only use this every other day as it can dry out my U-zone area. It makes my skin feel smooth as it gently exfoliates my dead skin cells and I’m running out of this soon too. Yes, this is definitely a  repurchase for me.

I guess that's all from me! Let me know your favourite water-based facial cleanser by leaving comments down below.

Until next time, annyeong~

Skincare Routine | First Cleansers

Wednesday, 3 January 2018
Hey, guys! I decided to do a series of posts on sharing my thoughts in the form of quick mini review for each or group of products included in my 11th round of Korean skincare that spanning since September last year so it's given when you see some of the products mentioned here seemed about to finish as I'll  be starting on Round 12.0 starting in April. I'll be going in the order of product usage i.e. from cleansing steps to sleeping masks so for today's post it's going to be my line of first cleansers which are my makeup removers.

I've been indulging myself in Bifesta cleansing products ever since I've discovered the brand in my local drugstore mid last year. Although the Eye makeup remover (the first on the left) is finishing rather slowly as I haven't been really wearing much of eye makeup, the cleansing lotion on the other hand goes on literally like water to me as I've been using it as my my first step to remove my makeup. I've finished the first bottle I got; Sebum Cleansing Lotion around last month so I went with the Brightup Cleansing Lotion along with its sister the cleansing foam which I'll post about next time.

Another cleansing water that I've been using is that B-Lab I Am Sorry Just Cleansing: Pure Cleansing Water and that's actually the travel-sized version which I have been carrying in my handbag/backpack in case I wanted to remove my makeup midday at the office for a quick sheet mask session. It works well, smells like coconut milk and basically just remove everything I have on my face.

I'm actually about to finish that cleansing balm from Banila Co. and I'm going to admit that I'm  actually excited to open the next cleansing balm in my beauty stash as this stings my eyes and whenever I use it to remove my eye makeup, it melted so thinly and some goes into my eyes and I had to rigorously rinsing it off with water until it stop blurring my vision. I just heard that the whole line will be renewed soon and I do want to see if they improved the formulation.

Cleansing oil works the best when it comes to removing my makeup especially on those days I layered thick base makeup or literally just piling on sunscreen while outdoor. Aritaum Apricot Seed Deep Cleansing Oil is just great at doing that and it smells so nice too! The consistency isn't too thick but it still melts my foundation and emulsifying it with water takes seconds while rinsing off was easy with this one.

Innisfree Olive Real Cleansing Oil probably not for normal to oily skin people like me as it's just too intense and thick for me. Even after rinsing it off for several minutes still not enough and I had to use deep cleansing foam next but honestly these days I only been using it to wash my air puffs.

Last but not least, LANEIGE Perfect Pore Cleansing Oil which is actually a second bottle for me. This works the best at removing all kinds of makeup even my liquid lipsticks! This doesn't clog my pores and easy to wash off. The amount per bottle is ample enough to last the whole year for me. The scent is refreshing too!

So, I guess that's all from me! Let me know your thoughts or do recommend your favourite makeup remover.

Until next post, annyeong~

Beauty Talk | DIY Cleansing Pads

Monday, 27 November 2017
Few months ago, I've discovered this Japanese brand; Bifesta and I can't deny the fact that I'm obsessed especially with the cleansing water to the point I even bought other variants; Bright Up and Enrich as I do want to see the difference.

As with other cleansing waters, you can use this product to remove makeup but when it comes to this one from Bifesta, that's just the first cotton pad. Go ahead and use the second pad for a thorough cleansing and a third pad for toning your skin and you can just get right into your skincare routine or in my case for most nights these days; sleeping masks as I'm just too tired to do full routine.

As I'll be needing lots cotton pads per evening cleansing routine, I figured that I need to pre-soak them so it's easy for me to just take one out from a container and use one right away.

I use the Sebum Cleansing Lotion for this time around, Shiseido Facial Cotton that I bought at Sasa Malaysia here in Imago KK Times Square and a biscuit container with a lid that I found rolling around in the office recently.

I usually just put in around 30 pads at one time i.e. for 8 to 10 days usage. One cotton pad usually need 1 to 2 pumps so I pumped about 25 pumps into the container and indeed all cotton pads are soaked with the lotion and ready to be used. I placed this on my bedside table so it's easy for me to just do the routine while laying on my bed. I know! It's only when I'm really tired.

So I guess that's all from me! I'll see you guys on my next post! Annyeong~

Beauty Empties 14.0 | September

Thursday, 28 September 2017

Now that we've reached to the end of September; the third quarter of this year, it's time for another round Empties post and as per usual, let's go to skincare empties first!

I've finished the second tub of that THE FACE SHOP Chia Seed Sebum Control Moisture Cream and as much as I want to repurchase as it's indeed great as day moisturiser but you guys know me; I want to try other products. I've talked about LANEIGE White Plus Renew products that I've finished in last Empties post and at this time around, I've emptied the Skin Refiner and Emulsion sisters. I gotta say that these are the last ones I have in my stash and although I still have 2 bottles of essence and 2 tubs of creams, I'm not going to repurchase these as I'm already looking forward to try the new upgraded White Dew skincare line. I also have finished the first full-sized tub of LANEIGE Water Sleeping Pack_EX. I really like it as it retain and I'm glad to let you guys know that this sleeping mask is a staple in my routine and I've already repurchased this although I've got the the latest upgraded version; Water Sleeping Mask being the fourth upgrade since its launched back in 2002. I know last time I said I said I'll purchase the new Firming Sleeping Mask but not to worry as I've got the deluxe sample of it to try.

As for cleansers, I've managed to finish Bifesta Sebum Cleansing Lotion and its sister Sebum Foaming Whip. These are my favourite among the other variants that I've bought and I'd be sure to come back tho these once I've finished everything. That COSRX Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser is the first tube that I've finished and I've already got my backup for it. It's gentle, cleanse really well, doesn't dry out my skin and I absolutely loving it!

I've replaced my night moisturiser with brightening sleeping mask from LANEIGE which is the White Plus Renew Capsule Sleeping Pack on several nights the past months and I quite liking it! My skin appeared brightened, smooth and plumped with hydration! That small bottle is actually the Spot Ampoule that I've added to my night routine as I applied on my acne scars. I do feel like it's drying my skin so I dialed down the usage from every night to every other night and the dryness reduced significantly.

I've also managed to finish handful of deluxe samples! There are the LANEIGE cleansing oils, Multi Cleanser, and Mini Pore Blurring Tightener. I still got several more of these so I won't rush in buying the full-sized version for those that I actually like.

I also decided to give the no. 1 bestselling product from Innisfree which is The Green Tea Seed Serum a try for a week as I've used up the sample sachets and deluxe samples. I gotta say I'm liking it already and I've purchased the full-sized version recently. As for those Green Tea skincare samples, I do find them rather average in moisturising as I've brought them to my weekend trip recently and I guess I won't be purchasing the full-sized versions. The Innisfree Jeju Orchid Skin however was so nice and I've added it to my shopping list probably next year as I've already got my next toner that I want to use. Those Capsule Recipe Packs also from the brand were great but I don't think I want to get them anytime soon as I still got some more in my stash as GWPs from my last Innisfree hauls.

I've also finished the deluxe samples for THE FACE SHOP Chia Seed Sebum Control Moisture Water and Cream as I've used up the full-sized versions.

Lastly, let's go to body care products!

Instead of going back to my usual Sunsilk green bottle shampoo, I've gotten the Hijab Recharge Anti-Dandruff instead but I guess it didn't perform any magic in solving my dandruff and scalp issue. Not going to repurchase. This time I've finished the Hair Conditioner from Melilea as I didn't get the conditioner from Sunsilk and I do find it quite average in softening my hair. Not going to repurchase as well.

For hand care, I only finished that huge tube of hand cream, Lea Mind Protective Hand Cream also from Melilea but the scent for this is quite overpowering not in any way that I like so although it's moisturising my dry hands, I won't be repurchasing this.

So I guess that's all from me. I hope you enjoyed this post as much I'm very much satisfied with these products are being used up. Off their went into a real bin.

I'll see you guys on my next post! Anneyong~

Skincare Diary | PM Cleansing Routine

Friday, 7 July 2017
I've discovered a new brand from Japan while watching Get It Beauty recently and it's Bifesta. Here in Malaysia, you can find the facial cleansing products by this brand in drugstores such as Watsons and Guardian.

With that, these are my current evening cleansers from Bifesta. I actually got my hands on 3 cleansing waters but currently I'm loving all these three right now as they're so good at removing my makeup and cleansing my skin.

The Eye Make Remover doesn't sting my eyes which is definitely a plus and it removes all my waterproof eye makeup so well. Just take a cotton pad; damped it with 3 to 4 drops of the remover then place it on my eye area, press gently for about a minute and wipe off.

The Cleansing Lotion is like a cleansing water and it's actually a no-rinse product. Using 3 separate cotton pads damped with this and wipe my face with one pad each round is enough for for my cleansing step and technically I can already  proceed with skincare. Still, I can never give up double cleansing unless on days I'm too tired, passed out on my bed and only manage to lift one arm to take pre-soaked cotton pads and remove my makeup of the day. Sounds exaggerating? I'm pretty sure you have those days too.

Now, the Carbonated Cleanser is a whipped foam cleanser that dispensed a fluffy foam that's so soft, cleanses well and doesn't dry out my normal to oily skin.

The combination of these three products are ample for my PM cleansing routine as for now so stay tuned for next one. Until then, annyeong~
