Review | Etude House Proof 10 Eye Primer

Monday, 7 March 2016
I've been loving eye makeup for the past few months and one thing that I needed the most other than eye makeup brushes is indeed an eye primer.

The main reason is to make eye makeup last even longer, not to crease or disappear after few hours. There are several types of eye primer, some are transparent, some with a little colour but still doesn't show on your lids, some are highly pigmented to amp up the colour of the eyeshadow that you want to layer it with while some have skin-like colour to really smooth out or blur your eyelid lines and imperfections. Yes, these are the ones you can get in Urban Decay Primer Potions which I got as samples with a purchase of their Naked Smoky palette. I love them all but almost RM100 for an eye primer that can only be used for 6 months? I definitely need an alternative to that especially I'm still practicing where lots of applying and removing eye makeups are happening as I try to get my desired blend of shadows.

As I only been into makeup starting last year, I haven't really made my research on the best products for Korean makeup as I've been only making myself a frequent visitor to Sephora. Who doesn't love swatching makeup there?

So please don't be surprised as I only discovered this eye primer via one of my favourite YouTuber, meejmuse (who put this product with a Holy Grail status) like the end of last year and got my hands on it via a personal shopper in Seoul - not that this wasn't sold locally but I was getting some other stuffs as well.

Saturday, 5 March 2016
Hello, beautiful people! Enjoying your weekend? This weekend is going to be all about recovery i.e. self-spa and anything me-time. Been stressing a lot lately so I do need to let some steam off!

Anyway, have you join any subreddit community on Reddit.com before? I actually heard about this beauty community from +tarapapapapa for the first time back in 2014 I think, around the time when I was just few months writing posts in here. Totally clueless at the time and I was really overwhelmed by course works and whatnot, I only checked out this beauty community quite recently.

Review | Etude House Dr. Mascara Fixer Perfect Lash and Super Long Lash

Tuesday, 1 March 2016
I honestly didn't care for my eyelashes not until 2 years ago when suddenly a friend of mine noticed that my lashes are short and handed me a Maybelline mascara and since then, I always put on mascara whenever I put on my makeup.

So far, I've tried several number of mascaras from Korean brand like Etude House and TheFaceShop while several other from Western brand like Maybelline, Benefit,  and Urban Decay. What I look for the most in a mascara is lengthening but volumising and curling are welcome too. Of course, not all mascara comes with the three things I want so this is where these 2 products I discovered from Etude House come in.

Monday, 29 February 2016
It may not come to a surprise that I found myself hooked on Mediheal. I've tried their anti-aging ampoule mask last month and bought a whole box after and now I'm hooked onto its sister product, the I.P.I. Lightmax Ampoule Mask! This too comes in that limited edition LINE Friends packaging.

Beauty Perks | Innisfree Malaysia VIP Kit January 2016

Tuesday, 23 February 2016
Annyeong, lovely people~ I'm so happy when mum picked up our packages from the post office first thing in the morning and I found the package sent by a good friend of mine all the way from KL.

As you probably know, I finally settled down here in KK, Sabah (well, it's been almost a year I~) and I've been to KL like 4 times since then so it's hard to get products from NARS, Burberry Beauty, Innisfree and other brands as we don't have them here. So, I'm really grateful when I still have some friends I can rely on to get some stuffs from these stores.

I bought lots of stuffs from Innisfree throughout 2015 but I didn't really post about them in here as I didn't have opportunity to do that as most of the time I don't have good camera with me or I basically don't have time to sit down and do haul posts.

So when I reached VIP level like in November I think, after accumulating purchases for more than RM600, Innisfree Malaysia announced at their Facebook page to do the reservation for redemption of VIP Kit around that time as well. It's important to always be alert of these kind of perks where you have to do reservation and whatnot because there are lots of customers reached VIP level especially with such low amount purchase within 6 months (for Laneige, you have to maintain at least RM800 with more than 2 transactions within a year) but there's limited number of VIP Kits. So when you actually managed to score a Kit, it's probably safe to say that you're VVIP.^_____^ sorry, it's just me!

Anyway, today I'll be doing a review on this cute blusher Sugarball Cushion Blusher in No. 3 Daisy Coral from Aritaum.

Beauty Haul | TheFaceShop

Saturday, 20 February 2016
Honestly, this haul totally bring me back to my first Korean beauty haul more than 2 years ago where I bought lots of stuffs from TheFaceShop and back then, I only bought products from Malaysian stores in KL. This time, I decided to get some new products from Seoul stores and bought off-seasoned items off an online store as well.

Review | Solinotes Fleur de Cerisier Eau de Toilette

Saturday, 13 February 2016
Annyeong, beautiful people~ No matter how happy I am while writing this post, it's been raining almost everyday for the past week and it was really hard to get enough sunshine while taking photos.

I finally managed to take numbers of photos I can use so without further ado, let's get right into it!

First of all, have you get your hands on this February's FEMALE Magazine? I've been a subscriber for more than 5 years (sadly have to leave my 2-year i.e. like 20+ magazines at uni when I came back home), I have to say, when they revealed their first magazine after a huge makeover back in November, I feel in love with FEMALE more. But then, when I saw the cover of this month's issue, I'm totally blown away!

If you know me personally, you'd know that I never wear anything pink but I have unconditional love towards Japanese Sakura or cherry blossom. I was 10 when I started to outgrown pink-coloured stuffs and suddenly, after more than 15 years that shade of pink just scream, Spring is here! Though the colour probably started to seep in through Etude House haul last month but boy, I want some more.

It's the month of February and other than Chinese New Year promotions at everywhere, there's also also Valentine's Day promotions so when I received an email from Sephora Malaysia regarding their in-store fragrance promo, I went to the store to see what are the options.

I was actually kinda curious when I saw xxzyro's post last week so I was praying really hard to see my desired scents from the fragrance line which includes Vanille, Musc being displayed on shelf and then, I saw it. The last bottle of Solinotes Fleur de Cerisier with other 2 variants, Fleur d'Oranger and Jasmin.

Online Shopping | Sephora.MY

Friday, 12 February 2016
Hello, beautiful people! Are you excited for this weekend? I know I do! Why? I finally can get some time to just get away from the city and spend some time with my family. It's gonna be a simple picnic, with barbecues and of course, at the beach. :D

Anyway, you probably already know this that less than 2 weeks ago, Luxola.com, a Singapore-based online store has been revamped and today it's known as Sephora.my.

Of course, as a former Luxoler myself, I did received several emails from Luxola with hints of their store makeover. I can't help but I did think a lot on what kind of promotion they gonna held for existing Luxolers and how they're gonna merge Luxola's LX Insider and Sephora Loyalty Card rewards and beauty points.

Review | Aritaum X Sticky Monster Lab Babyface Mist: Collagen

Monday, 1 February 2016

Lovelies, annyeong~ How was your weekend? With Chinese New Year is just around the corner, there are sales everywhere so do check out the promotions via Facebook and online shopping sites as well and spend wisely!

So yes, finally! First in-depth review in 6 months and 2016! :D It's been a long time but yeah~ I'm getting more pickier of products that I want to review... most probably the case but then I was also pretty much occupied with so many things and most of the time I just wanna lay on bed doing nothing these days.. but one of my New Year resolutions is to post more updates so without further ado, let's get right into it!

As you probably know, I'm kinda obsessed with facial mist. You don't? You can read all about it here. It just happened that I received this product from Major B which is Aritaum Babyface Mist in Collagen, a limited edition item from the brand's collaboration with Sticky Monster Lab.
