Skincare Routine | Eye Care

Both the above full-sized products are from my Round 11.0 of skincare and for the past few weeks, I've been applying my eye cream and eye serum regularly and I am glad to see the result it brings. It's still a long way for major improvement but I hope I can work through to see the bottom of the jar and bottle. But I’m still not getting used to the eye serum texture and still adjusting the amount and whenever I have excess I’ll just apply on my smile lines.

I've got the deluxe sample of this sleeping mask specifically for eye area; LANEIGE Eye Sleeping Mask as GWP few months ago and brought this to my weekend getaway last week. I do love how it soothes my eye area and am considering to get the full size very soon.

Skincare Routine | Essences

Essence or serum to me is like a star product where it's the most important in any skincare line I ever encountered and how the cleanser, toner, emulsion, and moisturiser being designed heavily depends  on how the essence or serum works. Although, I haven't been getting the most out of the opened essences in my stash as I have been indulging a lot in using sheet masks both for my morning and night routine.

First would be that LANEIGE Time Freeze Essence. This is the first anti-aging essence I ever had in my whole stash and I have to admit that I haven't been using this so diligently but I'm planning to from now on. I've got a tip that we can still apply essences prior sheet mask application but it's preferable to use functional essence or serum with a hydrating sheet mask for a synergy effect. So, I guess I'll be trying this later and let you guys know how it went.

Of course, as both LANEIGE's and that Innisfree Jeju Sparkling Mineral Essence are from previous round of skincare, I'd still be alternating between the two. Although I still not really into this. Maybe I should give it away or apply on my body? :D

One of the most recent addition to my beauty stash is that Primary Soymilk Renew Essence. It's supposedly hydrates the skin and it's light in texture so I'll be using it in my morning routine. But seriously, what do you think of the packaging? It's made of glass by the way.

The above are some deluxe samples of essences from Innisfree, LANEIGE and Real Barriers that I used throughout the time when my skin was really sensitive due to having allergic reaction; hydrating and soothing essences. I probably getting one of these in full-sized version later. Especially that Real Barrier Essence Mist! So convenient to use after washing my face (on sensitive skin days) so I won't be feeling dry after stepping out of the washroom and into my bedroom literally 4 feet away.

Skincare Routine | Eye Care

I go through more or less of 10 products for my night routine but eye cream is the step that I often skip even though I know that I need to take better care for my eye area especially now that I'm entering my 30s. I went to the store and got myself 2 products from my favourite brands merely because I just want to motivate myself the fact that LANEIGE is getting more expensive year after year (thanks to weak Ringgit Malaysia) and the Innisfree Orchid line is my favourite line from the brand. For today's post under my Beauty Routine series where I'll be giving out my thoughts on line of products at certain point of my skincare or makeup routine, so I'll be talking about these eye care products that I have love-hate relationship with.

LANEIGE Time Freeze Eye Serum. I got this around last year and I'm not even half into this small bottle. The texture is quite thick despite its name and it does take several minutes of massaging around my eye area before it's fully absorbed.


Innisfree Orchid Eye Cream. I'm a huge fan of the moisturiser; Orchid Enriched Cream although to this day, I haven't finished using the sachets and deluxe-sized samples that came with my purchases and after watching @joankeem video on her ultimate eye cream battle, this one actually came out as a winner to her hence I decided to get this. I’ve been using this for the past week or whenever I feel extra dry under eye area.

Mask Review | LANEIGE Water Pocket Mask ​Time Freeze (Face Fit) Dynamic Collagen_EX™

It just hit me that even though I love LANEIGE as a brand so much that it currently taking over large percentage of my expenses on skincare, I rarely feature the product here in my blog, much lesser on my Instagram feed. I wonder why. Still, let's get onto this review of a sheet mask that I really love but unfortunately I can't get my hands on it and its wonderful sister variants easily, readily from my local LANEIGE counter here in Parkson Imago, KK Times Square.

Water Pocket Sheet Mask - Time Freeze (Face Fit) Dynamic Collagen_EX™

​I just started using some samples and products from the Time Freeze skincare line as I'm going for the big 3-0 this year hence I need more anti-aging/wrinkle/dryness skincare. I'm a huge fan of the brand Firming Sleeping Mask - better than their signature Water Sleeping Mask and I'm glad that they now included that mask in this line. Definitely going to get that sleeping mask soon!

Which sheet mask is the best that you've tried in the whole of your skincare journey? Mine is right here. It's moisturising, brightening, smoothening and so much more! Oh, well! Few weeks ago, b.liv Malaysia team had sent me these 3 babies for my skin to try and I am in love with all of them! As I mentioned in my blogger mail unboxing post previously, there are 3 variants for this Nano Bio-Cellulose mask line; Soothe Me Now, Hydrate Away and Age Eraser. 

First, let's talk about the sheet for this mask. This nano-scaled fibre structure sheet that hugs my facial area so nice like a teddy bear. I'm not kidding! The adherence to skin is so strong that even when I'm walking or sitting on a chair, the sheet slips so slightly down but still, for the best and utmost result, I'd recommend for you to lay down and let the mask do the work. 

Every sheet comes with a plastic cover which I'm going to suggest for you to remove this first, put on the mask, adjust accordingly and then remove that perforated veil. I'd try it the other way but it's hard adjusting the sheet under that plastic film. 

Mask Review | Skin's Boni Yogurt Mask Pack

If you've read my previous post, I had to reupload all the photos stored in my Photobucket.com to Google Photos so I have been lacking in sleep for many nights in a row and just last Friday, I found out that the fairies on 0.8L Malaysia picked me as their winner for this mask. Awesome!

April is here! My favourite month of the year is here! Why? It's Spring! Say hello to pretty pastel-coloured items from makeups to fashions.. and of course macaroons! LOL 

... but of course, here in tropical Malaysia, I don't about you guys but I do feel the transitions of season where it's actually getting warmer especially at night and I do feel my dead skin cells are piling up more than usual. Sigh.

Hence, I think around January this year, I decided to incorporate this product from Skinfood to fight off the accumulation of dead skin cells especially on my facial area so let me introduce you to Black Sugar Perfect Serum Gold in conjunction with the 10th Anniversary of the product's formulation. 

   

This product was released in Korea around January last year and in April in Malaysia official Skinfood stores. I have to say, the moment I saw this on the Korean site, I asked my cousin who're studying in Seoul to get it for me before it sold out and as it turned out, it really did in mere 3 weeks!
