Review | Innisfree Capsule Recipe Pack Rice Sleeping Pack

Monday 28 March 2016

If there's one skincare item that I must bring during travel, it would be a sleeping mask. Even better, a sleeping mask that's already packed in small container that can last 2 to 3 times of usage so I don't have to bring the full-sized or huge tub with me. I've had one or two products from Laneige and Etude House respectively but I always love to try new ones but this time, I've received 5 or 6 of these after making purchase at local Innisfree store and after the first usage, I went back to the store to get some more.

Product Description:
Featuring Rice as the main ingredient that offer brightening effect and its nutritious texture can give moisture for your skin during bed time.

How to Use :
At the last step of skin care, apply a proper amount to your face and massage lightly. Leave it for the rest of the night and wash it off the next morning.

Packaging:

As you can see, the product comes in that small approximately 2 to 3 inches of plastic container in brown. There are 12 types of wash-off masks for this wash-off mask line (they all came in the same container only different colours for the top) ranging from beneficial wash-off masks to sleeping masks (or known as packs among Koreans) and this one falls into Sleeping Pack category.

There are Product Description at the bottom of the container but it's all in Korean. I got this for free along with 5 other types after purchasing above RM210 in a single receipt. But other than the product SKU, there's not much of difference compared to the ones being sold at the store.

There's the manufacturing date at the side of the container. I've made several trips to the store around December so I guess it's not really that long after it's being imported from Korea.

Do note that there's slit at the opening so if you're planning to divide one capsule into 2 or 3 portions, do not peel the seal completely, just enough you can scoop the product out using small spoon or spatula and then slip the seal into the slit to secure it.

That's the product. It's white in colour, given it's made of Rice so I guess it just fits the concept. It's creamy but not really that thick. It's not runny when I put some on my face and as you can see on the right photo, the texture is between creamy and gel and after massaging my skin for several minutes, the product got absorbed into my skin like a regular moisturizer. It's not sticky at all to me.

Verdict:

I love this product! First, it's really convenient as I just have to double cleanse (perhaps do scrubs) then I'll just use my toner as the last step for cleansing and then just apply this all over my face and neck.

Second, I woke up with brightened, filled with moisture and really soft to touch skin and that really makes me so happy. I usually bring this during travel but this is fun for sleepover with my girls as well as we can have a portion for each of us.

Final verdict:  4.5/5. Minus half point as this is kind of expensive compared to my regular sleeping masks that comes in a tub. This 10ml product is sold at RM10 at local Innisfree store so I guess it's better to save them for travel only. But, you can get this product at merely RM7 from Major B

That's all from me! Hope this post helps and let me know if you ever tried this mask or other variant from the same line.

Until next post, annyeong~
