Review: Etude House I Need You, Yogurt! Wash-Off Masks

Thursday 26 December 2013
Hello, beautiful people! Second post of the day! Oh, well. I'm taking a break from doing my revision (...or is that an excuse?? hehe) so here I am with another review! :D

In the previous post, I mentioned that I don't have the Aloe mask sheet, right? Funny thing is, mom called yesterday and thanked me for the Aloe mask sheets that I left at home and told me she was using it after she returned from fishing with my uncles. So... I guess you guys get the picture, right?

To continue the #masksheetmarathon challenge, I wanna make a twist over here and sum it up with this nice wash-off masks from the same I Need You! line. I know. I know. It's not a mask sheet but it's from the same line so I guess it's okay. LOL

As I have reviewed the Honey Wash-Off Masks before and as you guys might already know, this is the Yogurt version.

Etude House I Need You, Yogurt! Wash-Off Masks

Product Description:
Facial massage pack formulated with fruit and yogurt to soften, nourish and replenish skin.

How to use:
After facial cleansing and prior to toner application, massage pack onto facial surface.
Avoid contact with eyes and mouth.
Leave on for 10 minutes and rinse off with warm water.

Net weight: 48g (12g for each pack).

Active Ingredients: Strawberry Pack (Skin Brightening), Kiwi Pack (Skin Rejuvenating), Apple Pack (Skin Moisturizing), and Apricot Pack (Removing dead skin cells).

Packaging:

Same with the Honey version, this one also comes in butter packs and it's in nice blue hues. I think the illustration is super cute! hehe Different active ingredient in separated packs. Great for travel purposes.

Verdict:

For the first round, I tried the Kiwi pack. It says that this is for skin rejuvenating so after those sleepless nights, I'm in for a treat.

Ah, I wish I can re-draw that using watercolours.
Looks nice!

Since it's kiwi, so I guess the colour should be in green. Totally remind me of Avon's Cucumber Wash-Off Masks that I tried few years ago. Looks exactly like it!

Of course, to apply this on my skin, I use my lovely pink Etude House pack brush! :D

In terms of the texture and consistency, I'm 50/50 about it. It's like yogurt for sure, sticky and jelly-like. Do I like it? I guess no. Do I hate it? Nah. But it's not big of a deal. i'm cool with it.

But the scent? I was expecting Kiwi scent but I don't think this smells like Kiwi. it's more like Aloe with Cucumber I guess? I'm not sure. But it's not unpleasant and rather nice actually. So I guess it's okay.

Does it work? I gotta say, yes. Sorry I didn't include before-after pic as I was so tired while trying this one and totally forgot about it. But I did jotted down in my diary that I think my skin turned a little bit better. My skin gets rough without enough sleep and this does help in a way.

Final verdict: 4/5. It's not great but I do love this one better than the Honey version. I could say they deliver about the same result i.e. skin brightening and nourishing so if I were to choose, I would go to this one instead.

It's really affordable as I picked this up at RM13.90 and it was during the Malaysia Day so I got this for free with the purchase of the Honey version. This also is among the skincare items that I bought for my September Haul.

So that's it for today's review. I will update with the other three packs soon so stay tuned!

Have you guys tried this before? Do you want to? Do tell! :D

Remember (if you have anything in mind) to give me your suggestions for my first giveaway in my previous post, okay! :D

I'll see you guys next post, au revoir!
