Finally after more than 4 years of having this little blog of mine, I decided to get my own domain so say hello to Myra Beauty Diary!

To those of you who have been reading my blog from time to time (or is there any of you who read every post here? Hugs!) I'm pretty sure you guys know that all I've been doing here in this blog are writing beauty reviews, hauls and of course beauty topics. Therefore, I think it's befitting the new name that I chose for this blog as it's pretty much like I'm writing my diary, with snippets of my view on stuffs and some photos.

I have to admit that I've only been so active on social media especially Instagram and sometimes Twitter as I've been working on new contents hopefully in much more organised and coherent manner. It's about time for me to really show you guys on what's going on with my beauty routine and other things I'm eager to share with you guys (hint: I've got new place to live!) as all I've been doing for the past months were just sharing my obsession with sheet masks and some beauty blogger mails and packages.

Of New Year and Blog Design

Hey, guys! First off, HAPPY NEW YEAR 2017!! My God~I can't believe 2016 is over!! T_____T

I'm sorry as this is going to be a quick post but I just want to let you know that I'm currently working on the blog design. Not gonna be fancy or anything but I have disabled the mobile version temporarily so I hope you guys won't mind. 

Other than that I wish you guys in good health and hopefully this year will be better thsn the last.

Saying Goodbye to 2015

... And saying hello to 2016!

My dearest lovely people! How are you? Indeed, it's been a while since I last sit in front of my desktop and publish a post. Why? As there's so much I wanted to tell you all about it in here, the same amount of unwillingness keeps crawling on the tips of my fingers so long story short, I decided to take a bigger responsiblity as a member of this house, to take another job.

More work, hence more coffee~ 

I have to say, helping my parents with family business is quite a lot to digest under 6 months as I'm still (not really) new in the field, still overwhelmed with some things so I need to find a place (and time) where I can just be myself and do the things I love which is somethings that probably most of you who have been following my blog for quite sometime or you guys who know me personally, know so well - beauty related stuffs.

Throughout 2015, I only posted only small number of reviews and I didn't even update you guys with current promotions that went out throughout last year and that is caused by one thing only. I've been busy with adjusting myself with work. 

After several months, I decided to challenge myself to do some serious routine where I learn to discipline myself better especially getting up early in the morning (like 6 a.m.) and being good at time management. 

Innisfree is slowly growing on me~ 

I'm hoping that I can keep on going with this so I can really have time to put on reviews on products that I'm loving right now i.e. Monthly Favourite kinda post so I'd love to say thank you for those who kept on following me from 2013, and for those who just started reading posts on my blog, welcome! I hope you guys find my posts being helpful and don't be shy (I won't bite I promise!) to leave comments or suggestions for me to keep on improving myself at writing and posting maybe share some tips on how to keep on being motivated to do blogpost.

I'm Still Here, Alhamdulillah

3 months. 3 months???

Hello to all readers out there. It's been 3 months since my last post. T______T

First, I'd like to thank you for those kinda messages received in my Official Facebook page, giving me encouragement to keep on blogging though I didn't informed you guys that I was temporarily on hiatus. 

Second, to you guys out there who's reading, thanks so much for reading my posts! Hope they help! 

Third, thanks so much again to those who followed me on all kinds of platforms and SNS. Really appreciate your support. Let me know if I haven't return your follow.

Actually, the reason I didn't update this blog is because I was caught up with so many things as I was moving back to my hometown, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. 

So far, I only sent back like half of stuffs from KL so I'm planning to go there like next month to get the rest of it. Hence, the reason that I don't come up with review posts and whatnot. 

My beauty products (except for skincare) were left behind in KL as I got so many things but so little time to send them back home. Teeeheee~

Other than that, I'm just busy adjusting with my life here. I haven't stayed at home more than a month for more than 10 years as I was busy with uni life so right now I'm actually still overwhelmed by things at home. 

By the way, Eid is coming soon and of course, preparations are to be made so yeah~ it's been weeks since I started planning on the Eid dishes, cookies, cleaning the whole house and of course, catching up with latest Korean dramas. 

Anyway, I'm sorry this so gonna be a short post.

I'm so sorry as I couldn't reply Facebook requests and comments here in this blog yet. 

I'm in the middle of preparing for exam so I'll definitely gonna get back to you awesome people out there most probably in mid January.

Still Here.

..... Just busier! Hehe hello, guys!!

I'm so sorry for the unannounced temporary hiatus! I got some messages in my Facebook page inbox, asking whether I'm still blogging or not! Haha chill out~ it's just that I went back to my hometown in Sabah for 2 weeks and I just got back in KL last Monday. There was no I should say, proper internet connection at home as it's been about a month since the raining season had started so the connections at home aren't really that stable so I couldn't update my blog even though I had some free time on my hands that time.

Anyway, how's life? Next week is gonna be the 6th week since the new academic year had started so we're getting nearer to mid semester exams.. So I guess I won't be around here that much.

But still! I got some posts lined up to be drafted already but my desktop is at a friend's place, waiting to be formatted so hopefully when I'm done editing some photos, I would be able to do some reviews and hauls posts!

Speaking of haul posts, oh dear! The past and current month is about makeup mostly but as I haven't finished doing some research on some items, and a friend of mine is going to introduce me to the new (to me at least) world of foundation, I haven't done with shopping actually. Hehe.

But of course, speaking about makeup, one question popped into my head this morning that I'm about to venture a journey on the brands of Western Hemisphere so yeah. There might be some change of directions of this blog soon but to those of you who follow this blog solely because of Korean product reviews, fret not as I'm still fully using Korean skincare products so hopefully we can continue sharing awesome tips in the future.

So yeah, I think that's all for now. I'm definitely still not used to blogging on my iPhone even after more than 6 years. LOL

Of Exam and Holiday Trip to Singapore

Hello! It's been awhile since my last post as I've been busy with exam week and preparing for my surprise trip to visit my BFF in Singapore. She graduated for about 2 years now and since that, we kinda separated as she went back to SG while I'm staying here in my beloved country, Malaysia. BTW, to fellow Malaysian readers, Happy 57th Independence Day!

Anyway, to those of you who are like me and on your last week of your semester break, hope you enjoy it to the last minute.

Semester Break, Start!!!

Finally exams are over and holiday is here! It's gonna be 3 weeks of fun and awesome stuffs, I hope! I got lots of things on my list to do during this break as it's the first time I'm spending a semester break away from home! Well, my parents are coming to visit me here in Kuala Lumpur though~

Anyway, how's life treating you guys? Yes, I honestly asking here! For me, so many things happened during the past month but I'm not going to details here but hopefully you guys are going well with whatever you're doing.. hehe

Okay, enough rambling, I just wanna let you know that I'll be back updating this blog soon.

There's gonna be a slight change on the contents as well as I've been receiving items from sponsors for me to review, and.. it's not Korean brand. Yep, apart from Maybelline, I never do product review from other country other than South Korea, right?

It's been about 3 weeks since my last post! Well, actually I'm in the last month before my semester ends and it's been really crazy with assignments and whatnot.. ugh! You guys know this, as well right? hehe

As I've been using Laneige skincare products for the past 5 weeks, I gotta say I've seen improvement on my skin condition so yes, I will do reviews on those products first. :D

What else? Ah, I apologize for not being able to share with you guys regarding the current promotions in Korean beauty stores in Malaysia right now and it goes without saying that except for Laneige BB Cushion promotion in Mid Valley I think at the end of last month till early this month (of course, I'm going to post about that experience! Talk about my first Korean makeover!) but yeah I haven't been out shopping. huhu

it's been about a week I guess that I'm back to listening K-Pop songs... LOL It's been about 2 years since I last update with K-Pop world and current issue that I'm giving attention to right now is EXO's Kris matter of filing suit with none other than SM Entertainment. Not gonna talk about it as the last time I was giving so much attention to issues like this was back in 2010. Yup, JYJ leaving that company. haha you guys know I'm in love with Park Yoo Chun, right?? hehe Please give support to Three Days drama, okay!! hehe

What's Going On?

Okay, it's been a while since I last post anything but I'm not yet in the mood to review a product so today I just wanna talk about few things that have been going on with my life recently. hehe

If you're not interested, feel free not to further your reading from this point and do visit again when I post a new entry on product reviews, okay! :D

As you may already know, I'm an architecture student. Sometimes, heck, most of the time I wonder whether this is one thing I want to do for the rest of my life. No, I don't want to talk about heavy stuffs so let's leave it at that, okay? hehehehe

Anyway, finally!! I watched few episodes of 'You Who Came from the Star' starring our beloved Kim Soohyun oppa and beloved unni Gianna Jun. Please, cut me some slack. I've been extremely busy with uni so only now I got to watch that drama. Though I already watched a bit of it while streaming few episodes in my iPhone using DRAMOT app (it's awesome!!! Do check it out!!), watching properly on desktop is something that's just awesome! Okay, okay, I watched few episodes on dad's 60 inches HD Samsung TV before but as I only spent few days at home and S One was running 2 days marathon so yeah it was heaven on earth. But now that I'm in uni and I just got copies from a friend who downloaded the drama off the internet. I promise I'll buy the DVDs later, okay! 

What can I say, I'm head over heels with the drama of course. I love Gianna Jun unnie from Blood the movie so 14 years comeback drama is definitely something I can't missed. Kim Soohyun oppa? Ah, I always wonder when his next drama coming up so this is great. I also heard and seen beauty bloggers were raving about the products used throughout the drama, from beauty products to fashion (oh, I love Kim Soohyun's Nike Air Max and New Balance shoes! Forgive me as I always give attention to what are the items that the male lead used in Korean drama..) and I gotta say it's crazy especially Gianna Jun unnie lipsticks! Even Laneige Malaysia has specifically mentioned that they ordered only 100 of the lipstick that she used in that drama. Was it Neon Orange? Ah, I wish my skin tone can pull off that colour.

Along with that, I also just found out that Kim Soohyun has been appointed as the new ambassador for one of my favourite beauty brand, TheFaceShop!

I gotta admit, Kim Hyun Joong oppa has made me started to use the products from that brand but Kim Soohyun oppa definitely has made me keep on being a loyal customer. :) 

Good job, TheFaceShop! My purse is definitely crying soon with the launching of new skincare items for whitening soon. *wink*wink*

Other than that, it's been about 2 weeks since I'm using Laneige skincare products and so far it's been great. Though I did broke out few days after starting using it but when I asked the beauty adviser that I usually consult with and she said it's common especially when you're changing products. But thank goodness as I stopped breaking out within 3 to 4 days I think. hehe Which is why I can say all is good right now, well as for now. hehe

Another thing, did you guys noticed that almost every brand is promoting their sun care products right now? Well, Spring is here that's why. It's time to enjoy the sun, beautiful flowers and whatnot.

I was on my way from the airport. Spent a week with my parents.

I would say wavy. But I rebonded my hair every 5 to 6 months.

Changing my course from Medicine studies to Architecture. whether that's a good thing or not, that question still haunts me till today. Now particularly.

Ivory and dark brown.

Watch. Especially from Swatches. Love Swiss made.

I don't really follow celebrity style. But I do love Spring Style the most! Especially when it's pastels in everything. Eh, wait. I love homeless style I guess. Don't get me wrong. I'm saying I love Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen. Those baggy pants and big sweaters!

Padini Concept Store. Especially Padini Authentics Department and Vincci accessories. But I do love Charles & Keith and Carlo Rino as well.

Last week! Not only drove, I took flights to go back to my hometown.

I'm watching a Korean drama "That Moon Embraces the Sun" while posting up this entry. :D

Picked up some cleansers from Etude House few days ago and a tote bag from Vincci Accessories.

lemieletlavanille? It's French for honey and vanilla = hunnyandvanilla, my other screen name for my other blog. The meaning? I just love those flavours. hehehe

I love huge sweaters. I have one that covered my knees even! hehe

It would be How I Met Your Mother. Complete-8 now-9-season marathon? It's my semester break ritual. :D

Sailormoon, Doraemon and Carebears and though it's weird, I only know Cinderella as the Disney Princess. I think I was 16 till I found out about the other princesses.

25. What does your dream bedroom look like?

Huge white bed with posts and chiffon fabrics covering it, beige walls, huge windows that open to great views like beaches. That'll be awesome.

2 Weeks Hiatus!

Hello, people!

First of all, I'm so sorry for not notifying you guys that I was actually on hiatus for 2 weeks (which ends today) as I was enjoying my semester break. Took vacation to the other side of Malaysia, went to an awesome duty-free Federal Territory of Labuan island, and went back to see grandma. All in all it was an awesome break as I get to spend quality time with family.

I'm back in campus, uni started yesterday and I can tell everyone in my studio aren't excited. haha We're still in holiday mood, I guess.

Anyway, bad things happened just now. When I restarted my PC, I don't know what happened, I lost all my important software like AutoCAD, Photoshop, even my iTunes. Oh, crap! I seriously want to banh my head on the wall right now. Sigh. Thank God I didn't lose my photos for my reviews.

During the vacation, I also lost my Molang Diary, where I wrote all plans for this blog. All tracked items, all draft reviews. Sigh. All my wish-lists.

I guess I'm going to need to do the inventory again so it's gonna take awhile.

I hope I can start doing my reviews probably by tonight or tomorrow.
