Beauty Haul | September

Thursday 26 September 2013
As I'm still new to the whole Korean skincare routine, I decided to pick up some stuffs to try - trying to get them into my routine as soon as possible and I guess I'll be reviewing them and therefore, I'll update this post with a link to the items that I've reviewed.

Let's get started!

First, let's go to THE FACE  SHOP Malaysia.

For treatment steps, as I'm a batwoman i.e. I sleep like 3 to 4 hours a day, I decided to grab Raspberry Roots Sleeping Mask from the store so I can apply it whenever, wherever I want to sleep. I'll just wash my face, tone and apply this luxuriously and go for a quick 20 minutes nap in the evening. Sometimes at 4 in the morning, too. I also grabbed the White Mud Nose Pack as I never tried a nose pack before (only those nose strips) and so far it's working great at getting rid of my whiteheads and some blackheads.

For sun protection, I bought my first Korean sunscreen, the Natural Sun AQ Super White Sun Cream SPF50 PA+++ (Whitening) to finish off my skincare routine and too with a face powder. The lady at store managed to convince me to get 2 makeup items that befit my needs (natural coverage and sun protection) so I got myself the Smart Capsule Color Control Cream SPF40 PA++ and Face It Aura Color Control Cream SPF30 PA+++ in Medium Beige. As I'm not into anything with pigments for my lips, I grabbed that Lovely Mix Dessert Lip Balm in Orange and this comes with cute applicator.

As they were having a Buy 5 Free 5 promotion, I bought I think most of the variants from the Real Nature sheet mask line; Rice (Brightening & Complexion Improvement), Green Tea (Hydrating & Energizing), Acai Berry (Firming), Bamboo (Hydrating & Refreshing), Mung Bean (Clarifying), Honey (Moisturising & Radiating), Blueberry (Highly Nourishing), Lemon (Brightening), Pomegranate (Skin-Radiating), and Aloe (Soothing & Hydrating). So, I guess I'm good for the next 3 months?

Above are all freebies I received because I went and grabbed few things at one time then came back the next week to grab some more for my mom. So far, I'm only using the Herb Day Cleansing Aloe during travel because of its smaller tub compared to my Rice Water Bright Cleansing Cream. The 10th Anniversary cottons are actually great because it's not just your ordinary cotton pads. While using it, it doesn't easily ripped out or absorb my products so much which is awesome compared to regular drugstore cotton pads.

I also went to other store to get more products and as you can see in the above photo, I got that Nature Republic Aloe Vera Soothing GelBeauty bloggers are raving about this product so I went and got myself one. It's in 300ml tub and it is definitely a huge one and you can use it in 8 different ways for your skin, hair and body.

I got some of that Skinfood Rice Wash-Off Mask samples while I was at the store last month and instantly fell in love with it. It's a great exfoliating mask and I'm using it every Monday and Thursday after removing my makeup and deep cleansing.

Last but not least, Etude House!

To move around the campus, I usually take my scooter but there are times I prefer walking around especially during lunch time therefore I'm desperate for a body sunscreen. Sun Prise Cooling Body Spray SPF50+ PA+++ comes in a spray bottle so it's really quick and easy to apply. At the store, I was also introduced to one of the bestselling item which is the Magic Bubble Peeling: Creamy Peeling Wash. It's great at removing dead skin cells and gentle at that.

I picked up that Natural Jelly Cleansing Puff as my old one has decayed and along with that the Pink Head Band. As I need a paper blotter, I bought that Oil Control Film. So far, this is a face-saver especially at 3 p.m. onwards. It's cute but I think I'm going back to Biore.

So that's about it. If you guys have anything to ask or want to request any review, feel free to drop comments.

Until next post, annyeong~
