Beauty Haul | Innisfree Malaysia

I just came back from a weekend getaway with my roommate in KL and of course, I had to drop by  to Innisfree store in Suria KLCC as I haven't got a chance to go there ever since its opening last year. I do love the layout of the store though I have to say that this is the smallest one compared to other branches. I wonder why they have to open number of branches in KL area and not even a single store here in East counterpart. 

Let's just get to the haul, shall we?

At this point, you probably noticed that I super love Innisfree as a brand. I've tried the sheet masks, skincare, and now I'm using their body products. Back in February, I bought the Orchid Enriched Cream which leads to a purchase of its sister product, Orchid Eye Cream. I've heard lots of great things about this eye skincare product so I'm definitely will be looking forward to try this soon. 

Beauty Haul | Althea Box No. 13 Vitamin

If you're familiar with Althea Korea then you would know that they have curated themed Beauty Boxes which usually sold out within short period as a single box usually contains 5 to 7 full-sized beauty products and some with deluxe samples with a price of RM100 to RM130. So when they launched a Vitamin-themed Beauty Box, it took me merely seconds putting an order for it. 

Basically, there are 7 full-sized products included in this Beauty Box and just look at all of the products! So yellow, orange and bright! There are facial cleanser, mask, skincare booster, moisturiser, facial mist, lip mask and a body cleanser that are rich in vitamins.

Beauty Haul | Innisfree World and Son&Park

As Innisfree have not yet opened a branch here in this East part of Malaysia, I decided to order some products from Innisfree Global instead. The price is indeed slightly higher compared to the store but I heard a rumour that the prices in the local store will be increased soon due to our current economy so I guess this is doable for now.

During the past month, I was actually looking for a night moisturiser and finally after finishing my sample sachets and deluxe sample tubs of anti-ageing moisturisers from different brands, the Orchid Enriched Cream came out as a winner hence I decided to get a full size of the product and I was lucky as the brand released a limited set for it. 

 

The set came in a minimally designed ivory tin case with deluxe samples of Green Tea First Serum, Orchid Skin (toner), Orchid Lotion, Green Tea Sleeping Pack and Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask. These minis are great for travel and also for those who wants to try other products from the brand but  to me, this set looks like it's being curated for someone who wants to give Korean skincare routine a quick 'test drive'. After using your own facial cleanser, use clay-based mask and wash it off after 15 to 20 minutes. Carry on with the rest of the routine by using first serum, toner, lotion and maybe add a sheet mask at essence step and then you can seal everything with that moisturiser or if you're feeling for something lighter, use sleeping mask.

Beauty Haul | Althea Korea & The Body Shop Malaysia

It's definitely sale season and I'm trying my best from spending too much so for this month's haul, I just got myself some stuffs that have spent the longest time in my shopping cart i.e. the ones on Althea Korea and The Body Shop Malaysia. 

First, let's go to Althea!

I gotta admit that I've been obsessing with trying different cleansing waters and I've been wanting to get this Pure Natural Cleansing Water from I Am Sorry Just Cleansing line by the brand B-Lab for so long as this and its sister products have been recommended by the Althea Mermaid (beauty editors behind the store, I guess??) as I'm truly impressed with the product's concept and provided infographic. But of course, I wonder why these people have to name their products this way. It's so long! 

Next is the Oil Blossom Lip Mask from Petitfee. I've been hearing great things about this lip mask and how it's comparable to the much more expensive product from Laneige that I've been using for the past few months. I'm excited to see their differences. 

Beauty Haul | Althea Korea & Innisfree Malaysia

I just got back from a trip to KL recently and I just had to grab few things from Innisfree store in Pavilion. I didn't get myself so much this time and I only bought some makeup items as I still have a lot of skincare items lining up to be tried next. But then, after discovering Althea Korea recently, I've been checking out some products available on store and finally made my first purchase.

I bought only 2 items from Etude House holiday collection for this year which is My Little Nut. I got my favourite Curl Fix Mascara and Play 101 Pencil in #86. 

Beauty Haul | THE FACE SHOP Malaysia

I know! This year I bought lots of stuffs from the brand! What can I say. It's the first brand I ventured into and it's still my favourite all these years. 

First off, I repurchased my Holy Grail cleansing foam which is that Rice Water Bright Cleansing Foam. Though I just started using Etude House Milky You Cleansing Foam as my morning cleanser, I'm planning to go back to this cleanser when I finished that. 

I also bought its sister product, Rice Water Bright Cleansing Water to remove my light to medium makeup and this is probably my third repurchase if not mistaken. I really like it as it removes makeup so well and definitely will be reviewing this soon. 

Beauty Haul | Crabtree & Evelyn Caribbean Island Wild Flower

Of course, I firmly said to myself that I'm done with shopping for this month but as I passed Crabtree & Evelyn store in Suria Sabah, I just had to see the stuffs they're offering for this Holiday. 

I wasn't impressed with so many things as I only tried their most popular line i.e. Evelyn Rose but other than that, I honestly haven't tried anything else. I spent about an hour deciding on which line of fragrance to try next so in the end, I went with their Caribbean Island Wild Flower. I swear, it doesn't has anything to do with my obsession with Secret Recipe's Fish Fillet with Caribbean Sauce that I had earlier that night. 

Beauty Haul | Sephora and M.A.C

I used to post Beauty Haul of the month at the end of that month but I've been changing my schedule and do my shopping at the beginning of the month so I guess they won't be much difference, right?

These days, my heart just scream "more makeup, please!" even though my brain (and my bank!) nodding my head and pulled me away every time I was passing by Sephora and makeup boutiques. But of course, I can't just not to get anything when Sephora was having Double Points day. For the sake of getting Sephora Gold!! haha 

Beauty Haul | THE FACE SHOP Malaysia

Korean beauty companies collaborating with SNS companies or other brands with special characters like Disney, etc. has been a trend for the past few years so this year, one of my favourite K-beauty company, TheFaceShop has collaborated with Kakao Friends and Pixar's Monster, Inc. 

I went to a local TFS store recently and saw the collection is on 20% discount for all the items so I grabbed few items among other things as they're so cute!

Beauty Haul | ZOEVA and Solinotes Paris

I guess it goes without saying that ever since I started working in an office environment, I've been wearing makeup like everyday. The past 2 months was all about adjusting to new environment, new routine and the need to wear makeup to work has gradually increased from week 1 to week 9. 

As I never really have proper makeup routine or set an everyday makeup look, I went on research on basic daily office makeup and one thing that came out the most was pulling a natural look i.e. natural eyeshadow colours, natural looking base foundation, and the need to have proper scent or perfume on you throughout the day.

Drugstore Haul | Kate Tokyo

As I've always been a big fan of Korean skincare and makeup, there are times when I wanted to try Japanese brands available in the drugstore i.e. Watsons or Guardians. 

There of course many brands available and Kate Tokyo is the first brand I want to get into because I've always loved the brand ambassador, Meisa Kuroki ever since I saw her in a Japanese movie Tada, Kimi o Aishiteru starring Tamaki Hiroshi and Aoi Miyazaki back in 2006. It has become one of my favourite Japanese movie of all time. 

Drugstore Haul | Maybelline Malaysia

I think it's safe to say that my hauls for this year is more on makeup rather than skincare unlike the past few years as I'm getting more and more interested on applying makeup by myself plus ever since I started working, the need to appear presentable in front of others is always there but all the more reason to do makeup for me is actually having fun by myself.

Honestly, this haul totally bring me back to my first Korean beauty haul more than 2 years ago where I bought lots of stuffs from TheFaceShop and back then, I only bought products from Malaysian stores in KL. This time, I decided to get some new products from Seoul stores and bought off-seasoned items off an online store as well.

Beauty Haul | Etude House

There are SO many sales going on especially few weeks before Chinese New Year and I just can't help my self to do some shopping and I swear to God that it all started merely with wanting to get a new mascara.

I have to say, I got some of these items from local Etude House stores here in Malaysia while some other products from stores in Seoul via personal shoppers. 

Beauty Haul | Sephora

Without realizing, January is about to end. WHAT? Feels like it's only been few days since we celebrated the New Year i.e. New Year shopping and to be honest, for beauty, I didn't really get a lot of things as all I've been doing throughout 2015 was finishing my beauty hauls from 2014. Yep! That much! ~not proud of it!

As I decided to be on No-Buy ban for skincare throughout the year, I started to get some makeup instead. Truth is, I'm not really that impressed with many things for Korean makeup items so for the past 2 years, I didn't really get much of stuffs apart from base products which not a lot of them actually being used throughout the time I own them as I'm quite tanned to begin with (talk about limited BB cream shades) so not a lot of Korean makeup items that are suitable to my skin tone.

Hence, begin my journey in Sephora. 

I first mentioned my first purchase from Sephora back in 2014 where I purchased several NYX products and boy, I've been doing lots of research on products available at the store since then. 

The thing about stuffs sold at Sephora is, it's easy to find reviews on YouTube and blogs. Though there are many other brands are not carried by Sephora Malaysia, there are still lots of products that are fun to try (which is awesome by the way) at the store and doing swatches on my lips, face and body are like a habit whenever I'm in Sephora. Do you know that you can actually bring (or just buy at the travel section) pots to sample the products like foundation and whatnot? Though I usually just ask any available makeup artist to just do a demo on me, have you done that personally? Let me know. 

So yeah~ here I want to talk about the stuffs I got for the past year (it's a long period, I know!) from Sephora Malaysia.

Marc Jacobs Le Marc Lip Creme in J'Adore | RM100

Though NARS is my first high-end makeup brand ever, I couldn't really get my hands on any of the products after I came back to Sabah and that's how Marc Jacobs came into the picture. Huh? Why so dramatic?? LOL But that's the ultimate truth. Why can't NARS have a pop-up store here in Imago? I really really in love with Le Marc lipstick formulation, totally comparable to my NARS Anita and as both came in black and sleek cases, I now love both of them equally. :D

Marc Jacobs (P)outliner in Prime Rose | RM85

After discovering lip liners from Essence, I kept asking myself, why in heaven did I get this? But honestly, Essence lip liners are quite drying my lips especially when I do that Kylie lips thing but I could totally replace my lipsticks and use this lip liner on my whole lips instead. It's quite buttery for me and not drying though I need to use a lot every time I wanna do whole lips thing so for now, I'm sticking to its original function as lip liner. It also can really go with any lipstick colour I have. 

Beauty Haul | December

For December, I've done my shopping much earlier and I admit some of these items arrived at late November but I couldn't take picture of them so I can't include them in my last haul. This month's haul is probably an aftermath of my previous hauls. You'll get what I mean when you read the rest of this post for sure.

So without further ado, I'll start with Laneige Malaysia.

      

There's no more suitable time to get a product that can help with my tired skin especially after the past few weeks of craziness plus I'm using makeup like everyday now so after deep consideration, I got myself the products from Brightening Sparkling Water line that I've been wanting to try since its launching in Malaysia. I got that Pop Essence, Peeling Mask, and Whipping Foam. Also comes with the set are White Plus Renew Skin Refiner and Emulsion (15ml) kit-sized and Multiberry Yogurt Peeling Gel (10ml). Yes, this is indeed the Sparkling Water Essentials set and retailed at RM150 with the Whipping Foam retailed at RM85 separately. I wanted to grab the Capsule Mist but apparently it has sold out at my regular counters. 

If you're following my Instagram, you probably already know that I got that Glitzy BB Cushion Whitening Set. But of course, as the set only comes with BB Cushion (Whitening) No. 21 Natural Beige, I was lucky as my roommate wanted a BB Cushion for herself so I just swapped with her to get No. 23 Sand Beige. Included with the set are Brush Pact No. 1 Natural Finishing, Lip Palette - 4 x 0.5g Serum Intense Lipstick, Lip & Eye Remover 25ml, and White Plus Renew Original Essence deluxe sample of 10ml. 

As I finished my deluxe samples for this, I decided to get that Sparkling Party Water Sleeping Pack Limited Edition. The tub is the same as the regular version though. Needless to say, this is a HG product especially among Laneige fans and this definitely can help me in stretching my skincare usage period i.e. I usually use one set of skincare within 3 months but with additional routine of sleeping pack like my HG Firming Sleeping Pack, White Plus Renew Capsule Sleeping Pack and now this one, I can stretch my skincare items to about 5 months. You guys know that Laneige products ain't cheap!  

Anyway, let's move on to Etude House Malaysia! 

Beauty Haul | November

For this month, it is more like a collective haul as I didn't buy all these items at the same time and some of them actually bought in October but were sent to me in November. So, without further ado, let's go to Laneige Malaysia! 

I know that I'm so late when it comes to above items as the LANEIGE X pushButton collection was launched early August but I've managed to get that LeoPuppy Serum Intense Lipstick in Dressy Coral only after 3 months! I bet some of you are wondering how in the world I got myself that pretty It Clutch as in order to get it, I have to spend RM200 above on any items solely from the collection. Actually it was given to me by an acquaintance who bought the LeoPuppy BB Cushion (Whitening) as we combine our purchases. Awesome! 

Next, let's go to TheFaceShop Malaysia. 

   

Finally, I got the chance to purchase the rest of the products from my favourite cleansing line which is the Rice Water Bright. I got the (left) Lip and Eye (Makeup) Remover, Light Cleansing Oil, Cleansing Milk, and Cleansing Water. I also repurchased the Cleansing Foam and Rice Bran Cleansing Foam. I honestly can't wait to try them! 

Beauty Haul | October

October goes by so fast! This weekend is gonna be November! 2 more months and it's the end of 2014! I'm so not ready for 2015 as I only crossed few things on my 2014 to-do list! Oh, well, let's not go further into that. Let me do you a favour and spare you from 2 hours of reading. 

Anyway, today I'm going to share with you guys about some items that I bought throughout this month. I'm really sorry as I haven't done much review lately as I've been occupied with uni, extra Japanese language lessons, practicing my drawing, and of course, keeping up with beauty trends among Korean women. Yes, I mean watching Get It Beauty. 

But first, let's go to Etude House. 

I bet all girls wanna be a princess at some point in life and for me... if I have to be honest, I gotta say... only during the time when I watch Cinderella. That means when I was 11. I know. I grew up with 2 brothers and never had girly BFFs not until I hit my 20s. But then, when I saw the Princess Etoinette Season 2 launched in Korea for Winter 2013, I couldn't bring myself and say to no these babies when they're on Sweeties Club October promotion! So I got myself the Princess Etoinette All Over Powder, Crystal Shine Lips in PBE102 Moon Flower Under the Stars (wish came true!!) and the lovely Mirror. 

Beauty Haul | September

Finally I can sit down and write a post! Been super busy lately with the early-scheduled mid semester break coming next week and I haven't pack a thing!  Also, I finally bought some stuffs from TheFaceShop! I haven't been to the store since the Flagship Store Opening at Pavilion KL last June so I'm actually excited to see new products coming to Malaysian store! The White Seed skincare line which is something that I've been looking forward to has finally arrived and did you guys check out the Aura CC Cream that comes in limited edition case with Kim Soohyun signature on it? Though it's only available for shade No. 2 i.e. Natural Beige. 

Though I'm not really big on eye makeup, I decided to get these pretty babies as I literally have only light and dark brown for eye shadows. As I tried them at the store, I love the pigmentation so I got the colours that matched my drapes... kidding!! My Baju Kurung i.e. traditional Malay 2-piece dress that I would normally wear to lectures.

Beauty Haul | August

A friend of mine who's a big fan of Western brands has introduced me to the new world (for me) called Sephora and along with that, she also helped me in discovering some items in drugstore that I usually just walked passed by as I was only a fan of Maybelline.

Introducing the Bourjois Paris, a brand originated from France that has recently hit Watsons Malaysia. I read reviews by local beauty bloggers and few of them even admitted that the foundation from this brand is one of the first foundation they actually finished quickly and get the second (even third) bottle right after they finished the first one. I tried this once using my friend's and quickly fall in love with it! For the past year I've been focusing on Korean makeups that usually give me light to medium coverage but now I'm thinking of expanding my interest on foundations as I gotta admit, though my Spot Treatment products are working their way into my skin, there are days I just want to cover up all the things I hate on my skin. For a start, I got myself that Healthy Mix Foundation in #55 Dark Beige, Healthy Mix Correcting Concealer in #53 Dark Radiance, Healthy Balance Unifying Powder in #55 Dark Beige, and Blush in #74 Rose Amber. I really hope the first impression of these products gonna last. 

Thanks to her again, I got introduced to Real Techniques makeup brushes.
