Skincare Diary | Sebum-Controlling

Friday, 1 July 2016
For the past few months, I've been talking about sebum-controlling beauty products; from cleansing to skincare and of course I had to talk about few makeup items that are helping me in controlling my natural oil from seeping through my makeup.

As I already went in depth on several items that I'm featuring in this post so today I'm gonna share with you guys the routine that I usually do in the morning. In short, this is my current AM routine

Beauty Empties 9.0 | June

Sunday, 26 June 2016

Hello, lovely people! How's you weekend so far? For me weekend means catching up with sleep and house chores. Especially laundry. Well, specifically laundry. It's been more than 2 months since I started working but I still can't adjust my routine that well. Any tips, though?

Beauty Talk | Cleaning My Brushes

Tuesday, 17 May 2016

If there's one thing I could not give up when it comes to makeup that will be not washing my makeup brushes. I usually wash these babies like once a month as I have multiple brushes for similar function for example I can use one powder brush per week and use another in the next one. But washing all of them together is quite a task these days I rather wash one set of brush every week so it'll take like at least 15 minutes to go through all of them.

Review | Innisfree Green Tea Mineral Mist

Thursday, 5 May 2016
If there's one thing that you'll find in any Korean beauty enthusiast's bag, it's definitely a facial mist. As I'm definitely into anything towards that healthy looking skin that Korean women are known for, adapting this habit is a huge welcome.

If you didn't know (I rather doubt it), a facial mist is a water-based product that usually infused with beneficial ingredients or based on formulation targeting skin issues like lack of moisture. Having this kind of product on hand means you can instantly regain moisture for your skin anytime, anywhere.

I got into buying facial mists when I travelled a lot last year as the air within flights can be drying and having to put on sheet mask while aboard wasn't an option for me. As I was looking for a solution while I was in Innisfree store, I saw these babies and it's really great as the product comes in 2 sizes - a full-sized and a mini sized. As I know I can't ask a friend of mine to buy this and have it shipped via local postage, I grabbed 4 cans at one go.

Beauty Essential | Office Desktop

Friday, 15 April 2016

Now that I'm currently stationed in an office, I need to have certain beauty items on my desktop so I don't have to reach for my handbag or backpack (I sometimes bring my MacBook with me) everytime I need to refresh myself.

Beauty Talk | Wash-Off Masks

Monday, 4 April 2016

Last night, I posted the above photo on my Instagram and I thought, why not make a post about it? :) So, if you're wondering, no... that's not all of my scrub and wash-off mask stash. Most of them either in packs or capsules that I placed in the fridge (I really love putting on cool cucumber or bamboo masks) but these are the ones that don't require me to keep them cool.

If you didn't know, my skin is Normal to Combination so I require some clay mask to keep my sebum control at balance, mask to remove occasional blackheads, and scrub which is my favourite kind of wash-off mask.

Review | Innisfree Capsule Recipe Pack Rice Sleeping Pack

Monday, 28 March 2016

If there's one skincare item that I must bring during travel, it would be a sleeping mask. Even better, a sleeping mask that's already packed in small container that can last 2 to 3 times of usage so I don't have to bring the full-sized or huge tub with me. I've had one or two products from Laneige and Etude House respectively but I always love to try new ones but this time, I've received 5 or 6 of these after making purchase at local Innisfree store and after the first usage, I went back to the store to get some more.

Beauty Talk | I Heart Green Tea

Friday, 11 March 2016

Yes! Not only the regular green tea that you're usually served at Japanese restaurants but also my selection of beauty products that are based on green tea extracts.

Beauty Perks | Innisfree Malaysia VIP Kit January 2016

Tuesday, 23 February 2016
Annyeong, lovely people~ I'm so happy when mum picked up our packages from the post office first thing in the morning and I found the package sent by a good friend of mine all the way from KL.

As you probably know, I finally settled down here in KK, Sabah (well, it's been almost a year I~) and I've been to KL like 4 times since then so it's hard to get products from NARS, Burberry Beauty, Innisfree and other brands as we don't have them here. So, I'm really grateful when I still have some friends I can rely on to get some stuffs from these stores.

I bought lots of stuffs from Innisfree throughout 2015 but I didn't really post about them in here as I didn't have opportunity to do that as most of the time I don't have good camera with me or I basically don't have time to sit down and do haul posts.

So when I reached VIP level like in November I think, after accumulating purchases for more than RM600, Innisfree Malaysia announced at their Facebook page to do the reservation for redemption of VIP Kit around that time as well. It's important to always be alert of these kind of perks where you have to do reservation and whatnot because there are lots of customers reached VIP level especially with such low amount purchase within 6 months (for Laneige, you have to maintain at least RM800 with more than 2 transactions within a year) but there's limited number of VIP Kits. So when you actually managed to score a Kit, it's probably safe to say that you're VVIP.^_____^ sorry, it's just me!

Blogger Mail | Major B

Sunday, 24 January 2016

Hello, lovely people! How's your Sunday so far? Mine is great! Just finished doing laundry and cleaning up the kitchen~ haha sorry for blabbing away like this! :p

If you noticed, this post was part of the previous post but I decided to separate them and give deeper insight on unboxing the box I received from Major B.

Anyway, let's go right into it!

So last week, if you saw my Instagram, I received a package from Major B. Yay~

The design of the box is so pretty! The colour is minty green and it does look like one of those box you get from Korean online shops or gift box at Korean stores. Yep, they're known for soft or pastel colours which are sooooo appealing to my eyes. The box also so sturdy that it didn't even changed its shape during delivery process well, thanks to the outer bubble wrap and plastic cover! I'm definitely gonna put this box a lot of use later on. Hehe

Just look at how the box 'greet' me!! Happiness unlocked, indeed! I'm so in love~ It feels like as if the online store being brought to life with that continuous use of that mint green colour from the online store to the beauty box.

As you can see above, these are the items sent to me. ^_______^

The theme: Moisturising, brightening and anti-aging products! Now, let's get into details. I'll make sure to update these with links when they're all available in the store.

Review | Innisfree Long Wear Cushion in No. 23 and No. 31

Saturday, 16 January 2016
I have to admit, if you saw my Instagram photo today, you'll know that I'm officially a cushion foundation addict. I've been practicing my skills on applying liquid foundations but there are days I'm on a hurry and can only afford to apply one thing before going out. Well, I can literally applying some lipstick while putting on my shoes so that doesn't count. haha

My first cushion foundation is from Etude House and the next ones are either from the Laneige, TheFaceShop, and of course, Innisfree. My main focus when it comes to my base makeup are usually sebum-control, matte finish and doesn't oxidise so much that my face either turned ashy or look orange.

Beauty Obsession | Facial Mists

Thursday, 19 November 2015

Annyeong, my lovelies~ Few years back, I was doing on some research on what are the must-have beauty items in any Korean girl's bag and one of them is facial mist. From hydrating to sebum controlling, there are many kinds of facial mist available released by most of Korean beauty brands.

As I'm working on Monthly Favourite post, I just noticed that I have 4 opened facial mists on hand. Though 3 of them are actually travel size but still. 4 opened at the same time? It's given I guess especially when you love trying new products and out of those 4, only one I actually repurchased. Wanna know more? Keep on reading!
