Review | Innisfree Capsule Recipe Pack in Seaweed

Friday 18 November 2016
When it comes to wash-off masks, I love trying lots of variants from different brands that I love these days instead of buying those in tubs or tubes because honestly, I'm having trouble finishing them. I usually just do masking sessions with my mum and younger brother so it'll finish earlier compared to when I'm using it all to myself. Plus, it's fun!

I actually got this wash-off mask after being impressed with other variants that I've tried previously and my bestie was raving about this product like a year ago so I decided to grab this during Althea Korea Birthday event few months ago.

Product Description:
A capsule recipe pack containing seaweed to improve your complexion.
  • Heat your skin naturally with seaweed!
  • Exfoliate dead skin cells for clean skin.
  • Enriched sizzling formation provides skin solutions.
  • A massage pack containing seaweed to heat and exfoliate your skin

How to use:
  1. After washing your face, spread and massage the mask evenly on your face.
  2. Rinse off the mask with lukewarm water after 10-15 minutes. Massaging will relieve your facial muscles for more comfortable looks.
  3. Insert the lid into the slit of the container and close it to keep it fresh for your next use.

Ingredients:
Jeju seaweed with wrinkle- smoothing properties. The regenerative properties of ocean plants, rich in minerals and nutrients from Jeju island, promote skin vitality and enhances its natural self-defense system for a powerful anti-aging effect.

GLYCERIN, CAMELLIA JAPONICA LEAF EXTRACT, OPUNTIA COCCINELLIFERA FRUIT EXTRACT, 1,2 HEXANEDIOL, ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN, FRAGRANCE, PHENOXYETHANOL, DIGLYCERIN, POLYGLYCERYL-10 BEHENATE/EICOSADIOATE,PEG-32, CHLORELLA VULGARIS POWDER, POLYGLYCERYL-10 LAURATE, CITRUS UNSHIU PEEL EXTRACT, ORCHID EXTRACT, CAMELLIA SINENSIS LEAF EXTRACT.

Capacity: 10ml.

Packaging:

It comes in that small plastic tub with a slit around it so you would want to just tear off the plastic seal in half just to get the product out onto your hands before applying and just slip it into the slit for next usage.

The mask is in that gel consistency and as you would expect it, it's in green colour. The moment I slather this onto my face using my finger, I started to feel the heat warming up my skin. It's pretty much a similar experience to Canola Honey.

Just with any other wash-off masks, I use wet The Body Shop facial sponge to remove it quickly off my face.

Verdict:

I love this variant and a little bit better than Canola Honey. Probably it's because of the scent as I'm always attracted to seaweed and green tea scent. After using it, my face felt so soft and smooth but of course, I still need to continue with the rest of my skincare routine.

I found out that there were less dead skin cells being sloughed off by Son&Park Beauty Water after using this mask. Like almost nothing! That is definitely a good sign.

Overall, I give this 5/5! Though it retails for slightly expensive for merely a 10ml product but in my opinion, you could actually stretch the use up to 4 times. It's quite thick and massaging my face in the first 3 to 5 minutes while having it on can actually increase blood circulation and let it work well in exfoliating the dead skin cells.

I guess that's all for this review. Let me know if you've tried this mask before ad your thoughts on it by leaving comments down below.

Until next post, annyeong~
