Review: Etude House Happy Fresh Foam: White Clay

Sunday 9 March 2014
Annyeonghaseyo! How's your weekend so far? I just came back from shopping and as I've rested enough, I decided to update this blog by doing another review on my morning cleanser which is Happy Fresh Foam in White Clay.

As you may already know, I used its sister product, the Witch Hazel version sometime around September last year, and decided to get this one last December.

While the Witch Hazel version promoted skin refinement, this one claimed to help in eliminating excess sebum and reducing shine, something that I need throughout the day.

Product Description:
Formulated with 10% sebum absorbers and 20% moisturisers, this fresh cleansing foam gently removes impurities with rich lather while White Clay helps to eliminate excess oil and reduce shine.
Skin is happy again, feeling clean, smooth and refreshed.

Net. Vol.: 150ml

Contains 2250mg of White Clay

Ingredients:

How to use:
Wet your face. Squeeze small amount into your palm and rub hands together to form lather.
Massage over face avoiding the eye area, then rinse thoroughly with cold water.
You can use the facial sponge to foam them or you can just use your hands before washing your face with it. But I love using the sponge as it'll be really foamy!

Packaging:

Similar with its sister's product, the product comes in this grey and turquoise hues-coloured tube.

There's English product description so no worries. :)

I really like this kinda cap as it locks in the product so well.

Another good thing is, the product is sealed before open. :)

Consistency:

Compared to the Witch Hazel version, this one has slightly thinner paste compared and as I've been using this for the past month everyday, nearing to finish the product, it's not really difficult squeezing out the paste from the tube.

The foam is merely a thick foam and there are no small Konjac-like beads in it. So, this is perfect for my morning cleanser as I only need basic cleanser.
As for the scent, it smells like baby powder, which I love!

Verdict:
Overall, I love this cleansing foam! Works great, it's a lot in one tube so I can use it luxuriously, foams fluffily (huh??) I meant nicely, and most importantly, it doesn't dry up my skin.
I love the scent! Smells like baby nephew! hehehe
As I've been using this together with my Wonder Pore Freshener, I can say it helps me with my oil control. My BB cream lasts longer as well.

Final verdict: 5/5. I love everything about this cleanser. Totally recommended! :D Well, to those with oily or oily-normal skin, at least. If you have dry skin, go for its sister product, the Happy Essential Foam from the same line. :)

I got this cleanser during the December weekend special with Buy 1 Free 1 promotion with a retailed price of RM29.90.

I guess that's all for today's review, if you guys have suggestions on similar products, do share, okay!

Until next post, Au revoir!
